FOOD WASTE

Food waste, which is unnecessarily supplied as a surplus due to unconscious consumption habits, but cannot be consumed and thrown away, is called food waste. Given the rapid population growth in the world, approximately 2.3 billion people will join the number, which is currently around 7.5 billion, in 2050. Approximately one third of the food produced worldwide is not consumed. While the world population is expected to be approximately 9.3 billion in 2050, 60% more food must be produced from now on in order to feed the expected population
